2019 Metro East Fall Health Forum

Join regional organizations for a FREE educational gathering focusing on how the food we eat impacts not only our health, but also regional air and environmental quality.  See below for a tentative agenda.    We are encouraging participants to bring an item to be donated to a local food bank.  A FREE taco bar luncheon will be provided by fit-flavors.  Choices will include chicken, shredded beef or veggie medley in a corn tortilla.  Toppings will include cheese, guacamole, salsa/pico and lettuce. Tentative Agenda 8:30 - 9:00  Registration and Light Breakfast 9:00 - 9:10  Welcome and Logistics 9:10 - 9:45  Madison and St. Clair Counties' Partnership for Health 9:45 - 9:55  Break 9:55 - 10:20  Madison County Transit 10:20 - 11:10  Foodscaping Our Cities 11:10 - 11:40  ABC's of Food Allergies 11:40 - 11:50  fit-flavors 11:50 - 12:30  Lunch and Resource Tables        12:30 - 1:00  Vaping 1:00 - 1:50  Daily Wellness in a Busy World 1:50 - 2:00  Wrap-Up/Evaluations Registration is FREE, but is required.    We hope to see you there!
