Fall Harvest: Garden Grown Paper & Walnut Ink
Who would have thought that the ordinary and abundant black walnut could be transformed into one of the most lovely inks on the planet!?! Join Emily of Wild Seed Field Museum for a fun-filled afternoon geeking out about ink and paper-making. To add to the experience, we'll use Okra and other common plants to make handmade paper too! With this skill under your belt, you'll be able to take Holiday gift giving to the next level this year. You'll leave with your own ink and paper set to use however you see fit! ----- Fall Harvest is a class series where friends can learn about a seasonal wildcrafted project together. Drinks are not included in the ticket price, but are available for purchase before or after the class. Please arrive 10 minutes early and check in at the outdoor register in the greenhouse. Class location is subject to weather, but please dress for comfort in a shady outdoor setting. Walk-ins are welcome, but please call in advance if you are able, as low registrations may result in class cancellation (314-764-2140).
