Teleflora Design Academy - Designing, Creating and Selling Fabulous Events for Profit
Yes, you too can do beautiful events! In this class, we will study how to set up a basic budget during the consultation and how to build that into a beautiful and profitable event using many products you may already have on hand. While many retail shops are convinced that they can’t, or shouldn’t do events, Jerome will demonstrate the steps in creating and selling profitable event designs from basic to the very dramatic. Featured Instructor: Jerome Raska AIFD, AAF, PFCI, CF Every weekend also includes a 2 hour session presented by the Design Academy's Chief Educator, Tom Bowling AIFD, PFCI - Practice Makes Profit. As an industry, we develop a business plan for about 35 days of the year… what happens to the other 330 days? Let’s look at the other 90% of the business year. Our class will examine how to increase your revenue during the other 90% of the year. We will examine best buying practices, develop ‘custom design’s’ that are easy and cost efficient to create. We will also develop recipe designs that are surefire winners, and examine everyday staffing. We’ll learn from other designers and business owners what works best for them and why. Learn how to manage your events, weddings and holidays instead of them managing you! See FAQs below for more information: FAQs Can I stay at the hotel where class will take place?
