Yonder Mountain String Band

The original Colorado-based Yonder Mountain String Band (featuring guitarist/vocalist, Adam Aijala; banjoist/vocalist, Dave Johnston; and bassist/vocalist, Ben Kaufmann), aimed to please with a mix of hardcore bluegrass and acoustic acid grass. Founding members Aijala, Johnston and bassist Kaufmann reconfigured the band as a more traditional bluegrass instrumental five-piece in 2014 with the recruitment of new players Allie Kral (violin) and Jacob Jolliff (mandolin). Their album, "Love. Ain't Love,' was released in 2017.
